Terms of Service

Last updated: 15 July 2026

1. The service

Phosphor Audio ("we", "us") provides audio-analysis tools and release-asset generation for musicians: free analysis tools (Hook Finder, Playlist Radar, Vinyl Check, Loudness Prep), the Studio workspace, and paid per-release deliverables (Release Kit, Mastering Kit) and subscriptions. Everything the service outputs is derived by signal analysis of the material you upload.

2. Your account

The Studio requires an account, created by verifying your email address. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (automated mass uploads, resale of output as a service, attempts to disrupt the platform).

3. Your content, your rights

You keep all rights to everything you upload. You must own (or hold the necessary rights to) the audio, artwork and photos you upload. Uploaded audio is processed transiently and deleted after analysis; in the Studio, your source master is deleted 48 hours after your kit is built. The kits and reports generated from your material belong to you and may be used commercially without attribution.

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle provides customer-service enquiries for purchases, handles returns, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable VAT/sales tax. Subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. See our refund policy.

5. Fair use of free tools

Free tools carry daily per-user limits. They are provided for evaluating your own music, not for bulk or automated processing.

6. Disclaimers

Analysis results (playlist fit, loudness, vinyl safety, mastering verdicts) are measured estimates provided to inform your decisions — they are not a guarantee of playlist placement, pressing-plant acceptance or commercial outcome. The service is provided "as is"; to the extent permitted by law our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email to account holders. German law applies; mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Contact: [email protected].
